Hiring: Part-Time Showroom Associate
Southern Comfort Flooring Ltd is looking for a friendly, welcoming and reliable part-time showroom associate to join our team at our Okotoks Showroom.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and is comfortable helping customers face-to-face. No previous flooring or sales experience is required - we will provide training and help you to build the product knowledge you'll need to confidently assist our clients.
What you'll do:
- Welcome customers into our showroom and provide a friendly, professional experience.
- Help customers explore and select flooring products based on their needs and preferences.
- Learn about our flooring products, installation services and manufacturers so that you can confidently answer basic customer questions.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to general customer enquiries.
- Collect client contact information and accurately enter it into our CRM.
- Keep the showroom tidy, organized and welcoming.
- Assist with general showroom tasks as needed.
- Open and/or close the showroom, including locking up a the end of the day.

- enjoys interacting with people and providing good customer service
- is comfortable speaking with clients over the phone
- is reliable, responsible and comfortable working independently
- has good attention to detail when recording customer information
- is willing and able to learn about flooring products and develop product knowledge
- takes pride in keeping their workspace organized and presentable
Previous flooring, retail or sales experience is considered an asset but it is not required. Training will be provided.
The Details:
Position: Part-Time Showroom Associate
Location: 101a Fisher St, Okotoks, Alberta
Hours: Part-Time Monday-Friday 12pm/ 1pm-5pm, with potentially some Saturdays.
Experience: No previous experience required - we are happy to train the right candidate.
Training: Full product and systems training provided
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 per week
