Compensation: $85,000 Base + Commission + Comprehensive Benefits

What you'll be doing?
- Manage and grow a portfolio of Group Benefits clients while delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Act as a trusted advisor on renewals, plan design, funding options, and cost containment strategies.
- Lead renewal negotiations, market reviews, client presentations, and carrier discussions.
- Build strong relationships with insurance carriers, clients, and strategic partners.
- Identify new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and existing client relationships.
- Collaborate with leadership on growth initiatives, operational improvements, and business strategy.
- Monitor key performance metrics including client retention, revenue growth, and profitability.
- Ensure CRM records, compliance documentation, and client communications are accurate and up to date.
- Coach and mentor team members while helping establish best practices and scalable processes.
Must haves:
- Active Ontario Life & Accident/Sickness Insurance License.
- 5+ years of Group Benefits experience within a brokerage, consulting firm, insurance carrier, or advisory environment.
- Strong knowledge of group benefits, renewals, plan design, pricing, funding arrangements, and carrier negotiations.
- Proven success managing client relationships and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Experience using CRM systems and maintaining organized client documentation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership experience through mentoring, coaching, or managing team members is considered a strong asset.
