With over 20 years of experience amongst the senior management, Pearl Builders deliveries a wide variety of projects. We manage projects from construction to property management encompassing a complete design/build. Our work ranges from the management and development of complete new builds, refurbishments and fit-outs for Companies.
The Construction Site Supervisor will work closely with the Construction, Management and Site Team to efficiently manage the projects documentation, submittals, reviews, and quality management processes. This will require extensive communication with the internal team members and external Consulting Engineers, Subtrades and Suppliers.
Job Duties:
- Organizing, directing, and controlling day-to-day activities on the job site
- Create strong relationships and ongoing communication with all, trade contractors, consultants, sub trades, designers and clients
- Monitor projects scope budget and time in line with client’s schedule, make certain that trade contractor meets established performance and quality standards
- Able to visualize the entire project and anticipate issues and embed solutions in the plans / schedules, resolving problems effectively in a timely manner
- Responsible for overall worksite cleanliness and enforcing Ministry of Labor regulations and O.N. Site Construction Safety Policy
- Perform hands-on demolition, carpentry, general construction support, if required
- Conducting site inspections for each stage of construction with City Inspectors to ensure quality, safety, and building processes are followed
- Assisting the Project Manager to ensure contract objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards are met in accordance with company policy and contract specifications
- Reporting on and communicating project updates to the project manager and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of construction supervision experience required
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Architectural Science or Engineering is preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle
- Thorough understanding of architectural and mechanical drawings
- Current knowledge of Ontario Occupational Health & Safety regulations and legislations
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
