Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment dedicated to excellence. Dealership experience is asset but not required. Would consider 3rd or 4th year apprentice position.
Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles, industrial machinery, and manufacturing equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs involving low voltage systems,
- Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to diagnose issues efficiently and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze equipment failures and develop strategies for continuous improvement in maintenance procedures.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety standards, including proper lockout/tagout procedures and electrical safety protocols.Requirements
- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or Industrial Maintenance Technician in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints confidently.
- Ability to analyze complex mechanical issues quickly using analysis skills and troubleshooting expertise.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, Schematics interpretation, and safety standards related to industrial maintenance.

Pay: $48.00-$54.00 per hour
