Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and supporting kitchen staff in providing excellent service to our guests. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently to keep the workspace clean and operational
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including counters, floors, and storage areas
- Sort and organize clean dishes, utensils, and equipment and return them to their proper locations
- Remove trash and ensure kitchen waste is disposed of properly and regularly
- Assist kitchen and serving staff as needed during busy hours
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with basic inventory organization by keeping supply areas tidy and notifying management of stock needs
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, kitchen, or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures is desirable
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to cleanliness and detail is beneficial
- Willingness to learn and take direction in a team-oriented kitchen environment
