We are currently seeking professional and reliable Event Security Guards to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for attendees, staff, and property during events.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor event areas and identify any suspicious activity or safety concerns
- Conduct regular patrols throughout the venue
- Assist with crowd control and maintain orderly conduct
- Verify credentials and assist with access control at entry points
- Enforce event and venue rules professionally
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, or medical situations when required
- Write clear and accurate incident reports
- Communicate with supervisors, event staff, and emergency services when needed
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional security presence
Requirements:
- Valid Security Guard License
- Minimum 6 months of event security experience required
- First Aid & CPR Certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and report writing skills
- Clean criminal record
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Flexible availability, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Assets:
- Experience with crowd control, concerts, festivals, sporting events, or private events
- CCTV or surveillance experience
- Law enforcement, military, or loss prevention background
- Valid driver’s license
Pay: $17.00-$18.13 per hour
