Matrix HR is partnering with a leading North American Energy and Utilities client to recruit an experienced Senior ERP Organizational Change Management Specialist, based in Calgary, Alberta!
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale, multi-year ERP transformation program!
This position is responsible for leading, planning, developing, and executing organizational change management (OCM) strategies that support enterprise-wide change initiatives. Working closely with senior leadership, project teams, Human Resources, and business stakeholders, you will help prepare the organization for change by driving organizational readiness, fostering stakeholder engagement, minimizing resistance, and ensuring the successful adoption of new processes and ways of working across multiple stakeholder groups.
Lead the planning, development, and execution of organizational change management (OCM) strategies supporting a large-scale, multi-year ERP transformation.
Conduct organizational readiness assessments, change impact assessments, and stakeholder analyses to inform effective change planning.
Develop and implement integrated communication, learning, coaching, sponsor engagement, and resistance management strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
Partner with senior leaders, Human Resources, Organizational Change Management, HR Business Partners, Talent Management, Learning & Development, and project teams to deliver integrated change solutions while preparing leaders to champion organizational change.
Coach project managers, business leaders, executive sponsors, and project teams on change leadership, sponsorship, and resistance management to drive successful adoption.
Identify organizational risks, competing priorities, and opportunities for alignment across multiple concurrent initiatives while monitoring change adoption and recommending actions to improve long-term success.
Facilitate transition planning, sustainment activities, and organizational adoption to successfully embed new processes and ways of working.
Prepare presentations, communications, and progress updates for senior leadership and key stakeholders while evaluating the effectiveness of change management initiatives.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of organizational change management methodologies, tools, standards, best practices, and the broader Organizational Change Management community of practice.
University degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness, Organizational Development, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is considered an asset.
Prosci Certification or another recognized Organizational Change Management certification is strongly preferred, along with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
Approximately 10+ years of progressive Organizational Change Management experience, including leading large, complex, multi-year transformation programs.
Proven experience partnering with executive leadership and diverse stakeholder groups to develop and deliver organizational readiness, change impact, stakeholder engagement, communication, learning, coaching, and adoption strategies.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities while supporting multiple concurrent initiatives in a complex organizational environment.
Experience supporting enterprise ERP implementations, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Operations, or other large-scale digital transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
Experience within the Energy, Utilities, Infrastructure, Engineering, or related industries is considered an asset.
Play a key leadership role in a major enterprise-wide ERP transformation.

Help shape the successful adoption of enterprise-wide change initiatives that will have a lasting organizational impact.

Location: Calgary, Alberta
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract
Anticipated Start Date: Late July / August 2026
Contract End Date: December 31, 2027
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (40 hours per week).
Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite, with the potential for a hybrid work schedule designed to support collaboration while providing flexibility.
Contract Extension: Extension is not confirmed at this time but may be considered at a later date.
