Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sushi Roller to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi rolls with precision and consistency as well as providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Skillfully prepare and assemble sushi rolls according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Handle fresh seafood, vegetables, and other ingredients with proper food safety and handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station, including sanitizing tools and work surfaces
- Ensure all ingredients are stored correctly and inventory levels are monitored
- Follow all food safety regulations and restaurant policies to uphold hygiene standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, especially in sushi or Japanese cuisine preferred
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation standards within the food industry
- Experience with serving customers in a restaurant or food service setting is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with cooking techniques related to sushi rolling and presentation
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and proper food storage practices

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
