HotShot Coffee Sleeves (coffeesleeves.ca / hotshotsleeves.com) is growing once again and we are looking for an individual to join our screen printing team.
Hotshot produces high quality custom printed coffee sleeves, double wall paper cups and custom printed plastic cups. As our volumes continue to grow, we are needing to expand our team.
Previous experience with screen printing is preferred, but not mandatory. Preference is given to those with experience printing on plastic and/or cylinder type objects, but all types of screen printing experience or offset printing experience is welcome. Experience with all stages of screen preparation and cleaning is an asset.
Main job duties include
Operation of automated Screen Printing machine to print on plastic cups
- Prepare screens for screen printing (burn image, clean out screens, etc)
- Setup machine for printing 1 color
- Mix UV inks for color matching Pantone colors
- Operate machine - cups are automatically loaded and unloaded from machine
- Adjust registration of screens on machine, watch overall print quality and adjust as necessary
- Washup machine and clean screens after use
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be mechanically inclined in order to troubleshoot issues and make small repairs when needed
- Have experience working in a screen printing company operating equipment and making screens
- Must live in the surrounding area (lower mainland). Overseas applications not accepted
- Must have good English reading and writing skills
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
Salary is based on experience.
