General Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Analytical thinking when implementing new features & debugging problems
· Team communication & collaboration
· Maintain existing code
· Front-End development
o Write scripts to create frontend features
o Implement styles based on designs or instructions
· Backend development
o Create and consume web api services
o Utilize written code to create new functionality
o Write reusable, readable and resilient code
o Work with relational databases, namely SQL Server
Preferred Qualifications
· Proficiency with C# or Java
· Experience with Asp Net Framework or other backend technologies
· Knowledge of CSS, styling, and web design
· Ability to use JavaScript
· Use of versioning systems like Git
· Previous experience with ecommerce applications or web projects
· Create visually appealing web solutions
Required Qualifications
· Holding a valid Canadian Work Permit, Student Permit or Canadian resident
· Is a current student enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary technology program
· Not graduating in the next 6 months
· Ability to work remotely & responsibly complete independent tasks
· Strong willingness to learn
· Complete a Venture for Canada Student Application & be accepted
