Trillium Health Partners is one of the largest community-based acute care facilities in Canada. Comprised of the Credit Valley Hospital, the Mississauga Hospital and the Queensway Health Centre, Trillium Health Partners serves the growing and diverse populations of Mississauga, West Toronto and surrounding communities. As part of Trillium Health Partners’ new strategy, the hospital became a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Toronto and research became a strategic priority. In support of this priority, Trillium Health Partners’ research institute, the Institute for Better Health, was created.
THP is seeking an ambitious Account Manager for the CAN Health Network, a national network of health organizations working to test and scale promising Canadian health technologies. Reporting to the Director of Operations, CAN Health Network, the Account Manager will be identifying and acquiring new partners/accounts and effectively maintaining existing business and partnerships across our entire Canadian region.
This role will have exposure to high-profile projects involving multiple organizations across the province and the country, be instrumental in supporting the development of the regional Ontario Network, and require collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, including senior management, scientists, research staff, and private sector key stakeholders.
Consistent and on plan delivery of project pipeline through lead identification, qualification and project pipeline management.
Develop lead generation objectives and strategies in accordance with organizational goals and targets.
Successful acquisition of new partners/accounts
Prepare and conduct presentations as required to effectively present and sell the CAN Health Network’s vision and services to potential customers and partners
Establish and maintain current and potential client/partner relationships.
Capture and objectively communicate customer needs, problems and interests with colleagues.
Required to maintain Salesforce CRM program– with all current sales opportunities, contact information, and relevant information.
Qualifications and Skills:
University degree in business or related field
1-3 years successful sales experience considered an asset, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Broad knowledge of the Innovation Ecosystem considered an asset.
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
Able to multi-task and effectively manage priorities
Able to work under pressure in an ever changing and dynamic environment.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent computer skills (Excel/ MS Word/ Power Point/Salesforce)
