SUMMARY
Under cllose supervision, performs routine tasks in making coils for pressure washers by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSITILITIES
Operate a .035 MIG welder and pipe lathe to construct coils.
Perform water test on the coils and inspect for the highest level of quality before product is transferred to assembly.
Operate an N.C. coiling machine (with proper training).
Service and maintain equipment. Helps troubleshoot if applicable.
Responsible for daily computer transaction.
Responsible for safety and reports any safety concerns immediately.
May be required to order materials.
May be required to have forklift certification.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Maintain machines and tools on a daily basis.
Must be able to work overtime when requested.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One to two years related experience and/or training.
Ability to use coiling lathe, .035 mig wire fed welder, hoist, wormdrive saw, 5-inch grinder and other hand and power tools as needed.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to welding fumes. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and requires wearing hearing protection.
