Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of construction, including blueprint reading, concrete forming, restoration, drywall, and carpentry. The successful applicant will contribute to high-quality building and renovation projects, ensuring safety and precision throughout all phases of work.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction tasks accurately
- Construct, install, and repair structures using concrete forming techniques and siding applications
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for framing, carpentry, and other building processes
- Conduct restoration work on existing structures, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal
- Engage in woodworking projects as required for custom or detailed work
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to support team efficiency
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in construction or related fields such as carpentry, concrete finishing, or restoration
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
- Strong understanding of safety standards within the construction industry
