Summary
We are seeking a passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our vibrant educational community as a remote position. In this role, you will contribute to shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning, aligning with our mission to provide exceptional education and support to our students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to elementary students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Support students with diverse learning needs, including special education requirements.
- Utilize educational technology and LMS tools to facilitate learning.
- Promote social-emotional development and student well-being.
- Qualifications
- Proven classroom teaching experience at the elementary level.
- Strong knowledge of math and general curriculum standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
- Experience with educational technology and LMS platforms.
- Certification in elementary education is preferred.
- Passion for fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
- Is a student at least currently in post-secondary
This position is ~4 hours a week, 2 hours per day of your choosing (Monday-Thursday) 6am-8am twice a week. Or 8pm-10pm
