Tuc's Contracting is seeking experienced Hydrovac Operators to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating hydrovac equipment and performing a variety of excavation, cleaning, and industrial support services while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Duties include, but are not limited to:

Hydrovac excavation
-
Shoring installation
-
Utility locates
-
Trenching
-
Tank cleaning
-
Debris removal and tank cleanouts
-
Piling hole and pole hole excavation
-
Dewatering operations
-
Small pipe flushing
-
Sump cleanouts
-
Equipment cleaning (with or without chemicals)
-
Hydrotesting
Additional responsibilities include:
-
Actively participating in all company safety initiatives
-
Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, pumps, tools, and equipment
-
Completing billing tickets, field documentation, and timecards accurately
-
Maintaining equipment in a clean and serviceable condition
-
Following all company, client, and regulatory safety requirements
-
Flexible shift rotations available, including:
-
14 days on / 7 days off
-
7 days on / 7 days off
-
Scheduling flexibility to accommodate both employer and employee needs
Successful candidates will possess:
-
Valid Class 3 Driver’s License
-
Clean 3-Year driver’s abstract
-
Minimum 3-5 years of Hydrovac operating experience

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Strong commitment to workplace safety

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Eligibility to access major oil sands sites (no active site bans)

Standard First Aid

CSTS
-
OSSA (or equivalent safety orientation)

Ground Disturbance Level II

Confined Space Entry

Confined Space Monitor
