Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients and staff. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in various areas such as offices, restrooms, and common spaces
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables as needed
- Follow established safety procedures and use personal protective equipment during cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning standards and procedures to ensure consistent quality of service
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
Experience
- Custodial experience or background in commercial cleaning is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for new hires
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role
- Prior experience in similar environments will be considered an asset but is not required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
