YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Manager Global Distribution is responsible for defining and executing the warehousing strategy for PA&A (Parts, Accessories and Apparel) businesses. Working closely with the regional leaders, she/he oversees delivering operational excellence and great service to our customers across the region in line with the supply chain strategy and while optimizing the global warehousing footprint.
By efficiently leveraging a network of 3PL, the Manager Global Distribution is constantly looking at opportunities to improve our service while reducing waste. Prioritizing multiple requests from various stakeholders, leading and influencing 3rd party logistic partners and adapting to a very dynamic environment will be the key challenges in the role.
Support the PA&A growth plan and customer value proposition (50%)
Ensure leadership for the Global PA&A Warehousing operation in collaboration with our 3PL partners;
Improve our customer service promise in line with BRP brand positioning and competitive landscape evolution;
Establish a network of value-added external partners to bring new concepts into the business;
Maintain a strong connection with the PA&A commercial leadership team to anticipate future business needs and define an optimal solution set;
Develop a capacity requirement to support global sales growth plan;
Optimize regional warehouse footprint worldwide with a proper hub and spoke strategy;
Adapt PA&A operation practices to new growth levers like B2C and vehicle customization.
Supply chain cost and working capital optimization (30%)
Strategically work with our 3rd party logistic partners to optimize warehouse efficiency;
Optimize the inventory and space requirements by collaborating and influencing stakeholders on forecasting, eliminating excess stock, and reducing lead-times while maintaining proper customer service level;
Promote continuous improvement mindset to support the lean pillar of BRP’s mission;
Stay connected with industry trends in supply chain.
Ensure efficient performance monitoring and promote best practices worldwide (20%)
Manage the budget/forecasts process and implement cost mitigation strategies when needed;
Define standard KPIs across all regions and sites including Service Level Agreement with 3PL;
Establish a global governance mechanism connecting all PA&A operations leaders worldwide;
Monitor 3PL performance against contractual requirements and make proper adjustments where required;
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor in Operations Management, Logistics, Engineering or in a relevant field
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in supply chain management in similar industries (automotive, consumer goods, service parts, etc)
Lead significant supply chain optimization projects and associated system implementation
Strong experience working in a 3rd party logistic model
Good knowledge of SAP and/or JDA environment
Clear customer focus mindset seeing the PA&A Supply Chain as a key enabler of differentiation;
Recognized ability to operationalize the strategic plan with a laser focus, in order to achieve the desired company profitability goals;
Capable of efficiently communicating and promoting your ideas to different levels of the organization including top executives;
Strong human and financial management skills;
Confirmed team player, always searching for innovative ideas to increase the top-line (passionate about growth as much as optimizing the costs) and to surpass customer service promise;
Viewed as a strong & passionate leader with a focus on people, organizational development, relationship building and change management;
Organized and analytical, focused on process improvement and maximizing systems capabilities;
Known to have strong governance including BSC and KPI management that tie back into the strategic planning cycle;
Recognized ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions.
This position reports to the Director, Global PA&A Supply Chain. Some travelling is required to support international operations and footprint expansion projects.
