Overview:
As a Behavioral Therapist at The ABA Shala Inc., you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement behavior intervention plans and support the overall well-being of our young clients.
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans for children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
- Assist in case management and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning discussions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Special Education, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis techniques.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a hospital or pediatric setting is a plus.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism.
- Experience implementing behavior plans as prescribed, collecting data, writing session notes, and progress notes.
- Possession of a valid Ontario Driving license/ ability to travel to client locations (home/community). This role requires to travel 50% time for in-home clients.
- Vulnerable sector check, CPR, and CPI training.

Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
