TIG Welder

This position is responsible for fabricating and welding stainless steel vessels, tanks, sanitary tubing, and structural materials. There will also be opportunities to work with copper.
Qualifications
- You must be a capable TIG welder, stainless steel or copper experience preferred
- Red Seal Welder Certificate considered an asset, not required
- Class A Pressure Welder Certificate considered an asset, not required
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and layout for welding projects
- Utilize TIG welding techniques to fabricate equipment with precision
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to assist in the manufacturing process
- Conduct quality checks on welds and assembled parts to ensure compliance with standards
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflow and enhance productivity
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating forklifts and cranes in the work environment
Skills / Experience
- Responsibility for meeting production schedules and maintaining quality
- Hands on fabrication experience including fit-up of vessels and other weldments
- Organized, self-starting, proactive get-the-job-done-right attitude
- High degree of ownership for work area, tools and equipment
- Proven attendance and safety record
- Shop crane and forklift experience considered an asset

Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour
