Meaningful work you’ll be part of
As a Cybersecurity & Privacy, Data Protection Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Engagement management, including project planning, budget management, and resource management
Business development activities throughout the entire opportunity lifecycle, including lead generation, opportunity tracking, pre-sales presentations, technical demos, client & engagement risk assessments, bid management, proposal writing, and contract management
Project delivery, as required by the scope of specific client engagements, which includes Assessment/Strategy through to the Design, Implementation and Optimisation of data protection, data privacy principles and regulatory environment solutions and products
Practice development, including work on delivery methodology, training, and sales and marketing materials
Personal professional development as a Data Protection subject-matter specialist, including continuous vendor and industry trainings, attending conferences, specific products and solutions self-study
Multitasking on multiple projects and tasks with contending priorities in a fast-paced environment
Working with other Cybersecurity & Privacy teams on non-data protection projects as required
Coach and train new and/or more junior team members to become an integral part of the Data Protection team, Cybersecurity & Privacy Consulting practice and PwC family
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
Project management experience, PMP certification would be an asset
Demonstrates experience providing technical guidance for designing, testing, and implementing data protection solutions (e.g., encryption/tokenization and DLP)
Demonstrates experience integrating encryption tools/methods within multiple applications - POS, SAP, EDW, Reporting, and other enterprise applications e.g. Active Directory, SIEM, CyberArk
Demonstrates strong experience in object-oriented development (e.g., Java, C#, C++)
Demonstrates strong experience in integration architecture design, including service-oriented concepts such as Enterprise Service Buses and web services as well as standard integrations through Java, XML, etc
Demonstrates experience in secure application architecture, including password management (e.g., CyberArk) and certificate configurations for establishing secure communication between systems
Demonstrates experience with middleware messaging systems (e.g., TIBCO, MQ).
Demonstrates experience in database architectures (i.e. tables, views and stored procedures).
Ability to architect, implement and integrate solutions that provide various data protection capabilities for enterprises
Ability to be recognized as the subject matter specialist in data protection when our client requires
Privacy certification like CIPP/C would be an asset
Demonstrates proven, thorough knowledge of data protection solutions (e.g., encryption / tokenization and data loss prevention)
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
Demonstrates capability to interact with end users to understand and document business and functional requirements, architect a solution, and drive technical tasks across the full software development life cycle
