Overview
We are seeking dedicated Traffic Control Personnel and Drivers to ensure safety and efficiency at construction and paving sites. This role involves managing traffic flow, operating heavy equipment, and supporting construction activities. Candidates should be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working in dynamic outdoor environments. Prior experience with heavy equipment operation, paving, or construction is a plus. All positions are paid and available for both full-time and part-time applicants.
Responsibilities
- Direct and control vehicle and pedestrian traffic around construction zones to ensure safety for workers and the public
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, rollers, or pavers as needed for site operations
- Assist with paving activities, including setting up work zones and supporting material movement
- Maintain clear communication with team members to coordinate site activities effectively
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
- Conduct routine inspections of traffic control devices and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Support general construction tasks as required, including site cleanup and material handling
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in heavy equipment operation, paving, or construction preferred but not required
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform manual tasks as needed
