About The Media Firm.
The Media Firm. is a Toronto-based content marketing agency specializing in high-performing content for premium brands across the Greater Toronto Area: real estate professionals, builders, and design-focused brands.
In addition to client work, we operate a growing real estate media platform with strong audience (100k+ followers) reach across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. This platform runs its own content pipeline (submissions, property content, brand partnerships) on the same operational standard we bring to every client account.
Role Overview
This is an AI-first role. You will use Claude daily to handle the heavy lifting: drafting captions, summarizing analytics, researching trends, drafting outreach and reply options. Your job is to direct that output, apply judgment, and execute efficiently: post, reply, coordinate, review.
This role is built for someone who can get more done with AI in a few hours a week than most people do without it in many more. If you don't already work this way, this isn't the right fit.
Core Responsibilities
Social Media Leadership (AI-Assisted)
- Direct Claude to draft post captions, content calendars, and Stories content plans. Review, refine, and schedule
- Use Claude to summarize weekly analytics into clear takeaways, then apply those takeaways to posting strategy
- Use Claude to research trend and viral content opportunities worth adapting
- Personally engage with commenters and DMs to drive real engagement. This stays a human task, always
- Lead Stories posting, including supporting Stories (photos and video clips) alongside iPhone-style property tour content
Content Operations (AI-Assisted)
- Use Claude to maintain the content calendar and keep every active series organized with a clear posting cadence
- Maintain a minimum 7-day content queue across all active pages
- Review and quality-check every submission before it's queued
- Use Claude to help identify supplementary footage from existing libraries to fill content gaps
- Own social media graphic design using Canva or similar tools: templates, post graphics, titles, Stories graphics
Community, UGC and Influencer Engagement (AI-Assisted)
- Use Claude to draft UGC outreach messages and influencer research. Personally manage the relationships and send the final outreach
- Drive engagement through consistent, authentic comment and DM management
- Build community habits that turn one-time viewers into repeat engagement
Production and Shoot Coordination
- Schedule confirmed shoots and make sure videographers have what they need before arriving on site
- QC every video edit before it's queued for posting
- Close the feedback loop after content goes live
What We're Looking For
- Fully fluent and fully invested in using Claude, Manus.IM and other AI tools as the core way of working. This is not a bonus skill, it's the foundation of the role
- Able to direct AI tools to do first-pass work, then apply judgment and human voice on top
- Experience with social media management and scheduling tools
- Experience managing social media accounts for a brand or business
- Experience with UGC creation, influencer marketing, and creator management
- Comfortable engaging directly with an audience: comments, DMs, community building
- Graphic design skills within brand templates, including Stories
- Organized, proactive, doesn't need hand-holding
Bonus Experience
- Real estate, interior design or construction industry experience
- Existing relationships with influencers or creators in real estate, home, or lifestyle spaces
- Background in a media company or content-focused agency
Compensation
- Part-time, 20 to 30 hours per month, with occasional weeks up to 40 based on shoot and submission volume
- This role is structured around AI leverage. Claude handles first-pass drafting and analysis so the role stays efficient at this hour range
- Reviewed at the 90-day mark for scope, hours, and pay as the role and platform grow
