Our client, an IT services and technology consulting organization, SharePoint Specialist / Web Application Developer to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the IT and Digital Solutions team supporting Microsoft 365 environments, collaboration tools, and business applications. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:SharePoint Specialist / Web Application Developer
Location: Hybrid (Vancouver-based; on-site as required)
Pay Range: $85k to $95k annually + benefits
What’s the Job?
- Design, implement, and support SharePoint Online solutions, including site architecture, content organization, and migrations.
- Administer Microsoft 365 environments, including SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform tools, ensuring governance and security compliance.
- Support records management and compliance initiatives using Microsoft Purview and related tools.
- Maintain and enhance web applications and client-facing portals, troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements.
- Provide end-user support, training, and documentation to promote adoption and effective use of collaboration tools.
What’s Needed?
- 3–5+ years of experience supporting SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, administration, and governance best practices.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) and records management solutions.
- Familiarity with SharePoint migration tools (e.g., ShareGate) and digital workplace implementations.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
