We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our growing operations across multiple locations in Canada. In this role, you will collaborate closely with leaders and employees to drive HR initiatives that support business objectives, strengthen organizational culture, and enhance employee engagement and retention.
As a trusted advisor, you will provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, recruitment, and policy implementation. You will also work in partnership with the broader HR team to ensure consistency in processes, compliance with Canadian employment legislation, and delivery of high-quality HR services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and support full-cycle recruitment and onboarding activities for assigned business groups.
- Develop and implement employee relations strategies focused on conflict resolution, coaching, and proactive workplace support.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to leaders on HR policies, employment law, compliance, and best practices.
- Partner with senior leaders on performance management, leadership development, succession planning, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Collaborate with the HR team to standardize policies, procedures, and best practices across locations while ensuring compliance with applicable legislation.
- Support initiatives that foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Work with internal stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate, and customer-focused HR support.
- Design, implement, and monitor employee engagement programs and recommend improvements based on measurable outcomes.
- Support and participate in employee social and wellness initiatives.
- Design, facilitate, and deliver training programs that support employee development and organizational goals.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CHRP or CHRL designation is considered an asset.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in an HRBP or similar role.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is required.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation, HR best practices, and employee relations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive, hands-on approach to HR support.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR information systems; experience with UKG is an asset.
- Ability to travel regularly between company locations using a reliable personal vehicle in good working condition.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to conduct site visits and workplace investigations in manufacturing facilities, including local travel within a 15 km range.
- Comfort working in environments with potential exposure to paint fumes, solvents, airborne particles, noise, dust, and machinery; appropriate PPE will be provided and required.

Pay: $80,000.00-$92,000.00 per year
