Patient Care Coordinator
Precision Clinic Calgary is a Calgary, AB-based, private centre for Men’s Sexual Health. We offer treatment solutions for erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s Disease, premature ejaculation, penile enlargement and TRT. We are looking for a full-time Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office setting, be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to perform basic administrative tasks. This position is responsible for providing support to physicians with patient care management activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Following patients through their program journey, helping them with appointments and any questions and support along the way
- Ensure the clinical day is organized and ready for our physicians
- Utilizing a computerized EMR (Ava) and Weave, to schedule and book patients, adjusting arrangements in accordance with patient and program requirements and notifying both the patient and clinicians, ensuring that appropriate date, time, and location are provided to the patient, and placing appointment reminder calls to patients/families.
- Receive and register patients upon arrival. Ensure patient demographics and appropriate medical information is complete and accurate and follow up with appropriate parties as necessary. Advise appropriate professional that the patient has arrived.
- Perform data entry, and receiving and processing related paperwork. Schedule new referrals based on established criteria and work with physicians.
- Perform receptionist and other clerical duties including answering telephones, responding to inquiries and requests for information, obtaining patient files, greeting patients and families, printing daily and/or monthly schedules, and forwarding problems and complex queries to appropriate personnel.
- Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support
Education and Experience:
·High School Diploma or GED required, previous sales experience an asset
·Must be able to work independently with little supervision required
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) required; experience with EMR systems preferred
·Previous medical office experience preferred, but not required. Training provided for the right individual.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
