We are looking to hire a dessert baker for our afternoon-evening shift.

We are looking for an individual that has the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure. Work in a creative manner to consistently introduce innovative recipes. Be part of a great team and produce consistent quality products for both retail & restaurant plated desserts.
Duties include:
Preparing cookie dough, pastries, cakes, squares, individual desserts, fillings & elements
The professional skills are as follows:
Be a team player
Have a positive attitude
A culinary training degree with a focus on pastry & desserts is preferred
A minimum of 3 years progressive from scratch baking experience required in a professional kitchen
Develop & execute recipes
Create platted desserts for restaurant
Intricate cake decorating skills
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
Able to spend 100% of the time standing
Demonstrates an understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
Demonstrates an understanding of food handling, safety and sanitation standards
The position is full time with a consistent schedule:
Shift start time from 2pm - 10pm
5 days a week including weekend days
Be well versed and up to date with WHMIS, Work Place Health & Safety & Public Health food handling certificates
Salary: Wage will be based on experience and skill level.
