Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PPF/Vinyl Installer to join our automotive customization team. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle wrapping, paint protection film application, and vinyl installation, with a strong focus on quality craftsmanship. This role involves working closely with clients and team members to deliver exceptional results that enhance vehicle appearance and protection. Prior dealership experience or mechanical knowledge is highly valued, along with familiarity with various hand and power tools. Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles by cleaning and masking surfaces prior to installation
- Measure, cut, and apply paint protection film or vinyl wraps accurately to various vehicle surfaces
- Use hand tools and power tools to ensure precise application and trimming of materials
- Inspect finished work for quality, ensuring seamless installation without bubbles or wrinkles
- Assist in the removal of old wraps or films as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and client specifications
- Follow safety protocols during all installation procedures, including heavy lifting when necessary
Skills
- Dealership experience or background in automotive repair is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle surfaces and components
- Proficiency with hand tools such as knives, squeegees, scrapers, and measuring devices
- Experience using power tools relevant to vinyl wrapping and film application
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and efficiently during installations
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for precision in finishing work
- Knowledge of automotive aesthetics, including paint protection film installation techniques
- Mechanic experience is a plus, providing additional understanding of vehicle structures and surfaces
