Job Description:
Caribbean Oxygen is a family owned and operated independent cannabis retailer. We pride ourselves on customer experience and we are looking to grow our team with the addition of a part-time/casual budtender. If you have a passion for cannabis, and providing excellent customer service, this role might be for you.
As a budtender with us, your role is three-fold: You will be responsible for verifying IDs at the door, serving the customers, and accurately performing checkout and inventory management duties. As an employee of a licensed retailer, you will be responsible for ensuring only those over 19 enter our shop. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by answering questions, offering informed recommendations, and ensuring customers leave satisfied with their purchase. Finally, you will be responsible for managing your cash and inventory - scanning all products, and finalizing transactions, ensuring all protocols are followed and transactions are accurate.
Looking for someone who can work Saturday and Sunday, and possibly during the week at night.
Responsibilities:
- Verifying IDs at the door
- Responding to customer inquiries, in person and over the phone
- Operating cash register
- Providing educational and informative positive experiences for customers
- Completing opening, closing, and other duties as assigned
- Ensure the store is clean and presentable at all times (sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, restocking, etc.)
- Any other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Must be Cannsell certified before first day of employment
- Must provide a clean background check before first day of employment
- Must be proficient in the English language, Canadian currency and accurately process cash transactions
- 1+ years of retail/customer service experience considered an asset
- 1+ years in the cannabis industry considered an asset
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.60 per hour
