The Role
We're looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join us as a Hooklift Truck Operator and Junk Removal Technician. This position starts part-time (30–45 hours/week) with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as our business expands. If you're looking for somewhere to build long-term, this is it.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating a hooklift truck for bin drop-offs and pick-ups
- Loading junk and debris on residential and commercial job sites
- Driving to and from disposal facilities across the Ottawa area
- Representing Michee Environmental professionally with customers
- Keeping the truck clean and reporting any issues
What We're Looking For
- Valid Ontario G licence (full G required)
- Minimum 3–5 years of driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Physically fit — this job involves heavy lifting
- Punctual, reliable, and takes initiative
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Previous experience in waste management, moving, landscaping, or construction is an asset but not required — we'll train the right person
