This role is a permanent part-time position responsible for maintaining site cleanliness. Operating as a labor share between all projects, the Junior Laborer will be expected to travel between North Vancouver, Coquitlam, and Surrey. The Junior Laborer reports to the Site Superintendent and works closely with the Carpenter, Deficiency Carpenters and Safety Officer. In addition to the above mentioned duties, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, those duties specifically noted below:
Maintain and oversee site cleanliness.
Moving debris to located disposal bins.
Assist Safety Officer to ensure site is safe for all workers.
Replace miscellaneous guard rails.
Keep all stairwells clear.
Walk through site with Safety Officer bi-weekly for inspections.
These duties require you to be self-motivated, maintain strong communication skills, a positive attitude, excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You must always recognize the importance of confidentiality when dealing with health or safety information you may be exposed to as a function of your employment with the company. The position requires that you represent the company in a positive and professional manner and conduct yourself accordingly.

For our construction department, education is supported for safety courses and courses leading to Gold Seal Certification or Red Seal Certification for Carpentry.
