A day in the life of a Financial Analyst:
In collaboration with your team, you will participate in the delivery of the following mandates:
Preparing business valuations in the context of sell-side transactions, reorganizations, financial litigation and financial reporting including purchase price allocations, impairment testing for goodwill and other intangible assets;
Quantification of damages and preparation of Court expert reports;
Conducting due diligence, in the context of transactions, on behalf of companies, private equity firms and other institutional investors;
Carrying out fraud or other irregularities investigations;
Carrying out sell-side advisory services, including preparing potential buyers list, marketing materials and financial models.
What we are looking for
Interest in pursuing the CBV designation, an asset;
Fluently bilingual (English and French);
Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
Approximately 3 years of audit or relevant experience;
Superior financial analysis skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities;
Ability to rapidly identify key issues during an engagement and make recommendations;
Ability to handle multiple files at the same time;
Able to travel in Canada or to the US several days at a time, as required.
