Overview
Burrito Boyz Queensway is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated team members to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced food service environment, providing delicious burritos and excellent customer experiences. Ideal candidates are passionate about food, customer service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Cooking & Rolling the Burritos
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders, answering questions.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
- Ensure adherence to food handling procedures and sanitation protocols throughout all duties.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
- Basic math skills for order totaling and change calculation.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
