Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled slickline/braided line trainee to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting slickline & swabbing supervisor with set up and rig down operations. Must be physically fit, self starter willing to work short stints on the road. 1-4 days typically, as long as 10 days at most. Fox Creek applicants must possess a valid class 3 license. The right applicant will be expedited to supervisor position.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks to haul product to & from location (un1267)
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Assist with rig in and out slickline, swabbing and tank truck units
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, and other team members
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
- Assist with basic tool operations as needed to ensure efficiency
- Job requires quick reaction time and overnight jobs through busy completion season. Please don't apply if not a fit for you. Must be reliable and physically fit with no pre existing injuries hindering basic manual labour.
- Potential to move up corporate ladder immediately for the right applicant who is eager, reliable and mechanically inclined.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license Class 3 license
- Proven experience in commercial driving,
- Valid H2S & First Aid
- Familiarity with hydraulic equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Based in Bentley Alberta with work ranging from Bentley to Grand Prairie
- Must Live within 70km radius of Bentley hub or be local to Fox Creek.
Various schedules available based on applicants credentials and preference.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
