Lead Tour Guide – See Sight Tours
About the Role
See Sight Tours is seeking a Lead Tour Guide to elevate tour quality, support our guiding team, and help set the standard for unforgettable guest experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends front-line guiding with mentorship, quality oversight, and operational support.
You’ll lead by example on tour while helping ensure every guide in your city delivers experiences that are engaging, consistent, and guest-focused.
As a Lead Tour Guide, you will:
- Deliver exceptional, story-driven tours that reflect the See Sight Tours brand and values.
- Train new guides, and serve as a mentor and point of support for existing guides.
- Lead pre-tour briefings and contribute to post-tour feedback and coaching.
- Act as the primary communication link between guides and operations.
- Support scheduling, onboarding, and day-of tour readiness.
- Identify opportunities to improve tour flow, storytelling, and guest experience.
- Represent See Sight Tours professionally with guests, partners, and team members.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (vehicle type appropriate for tours).
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills — charismatic, clear, and engaging.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a strong asset).
- Weekend, holiday, and peak season availability.
- Strong leadership presence with a calm, solutions-oriented mindset.
- A genuine passion for travel, local culture, and guest service.
- Strong problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience leading tours or in a leadership role within hospitality/tourism.
- Deep local knowledge of the city’s history, culture, landmarks, and hidden gems.
- Ability to coach, train, and support other guides toward excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing group needs and unexpected situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver high-quality tour experiences that exceed expectations.
- Mentor and support tour guides to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Facilitate pre-tour briefings and post-tour feedback sessions.
- Help refine and elevate narrative elements and tour flow as needed.
