We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established distribution company that supplies electrical and plumbing products to contractors, industrial clients, and commercial customers throughout the region.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least one year of sales experience who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking for a company that promotes from within. The successful candidate will begin in Counter Sales, learning the products, customers, and business, with the opportunity to progress into an Outside Sales role where a vehicle allowance, gas card, and commission are offered.
What You'll Do
- Provide outstanding customer service at the sales counter.
- Assist customers with product selection and order inquiries.
- Prepare quotes, purchase orders, and sales transactions accurately.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and team to ensure orders are fulfilled.
- Support deliveries when required.
- Build strong relationships with contractors and repeat customers.
- Learn the company's product lines and develop industry knowledge.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience.
- A positive, customer-first attitude with strong communication skills.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Valid driver's license and access to your own reliable vehicle.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Experience or exposure to the electrical or plumbing industry is considered a strong asset.
- Construction or industrial distribution experience is an asset but not required.
