Our client, a leading precision metal fabrication and manufacturing company in Scarborough, ON, is looking for a Signage & Metal Fabricator to join their production team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for an individual with experience in sheet metal fabrication, precision assembly, and the manufacturing of signage, enclosures, cabinets, kiosks, or similar fabricated metal products.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble signage, enclosures, cabinets, kiosks, display systems, and other precision sheet metal products.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Measure, cut, bend, drill, grind, and finish aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel components.
- Operate fabrication equipment, including press brakes, shears, saws, drills, grinders, and other shop machinery.
- Assemble fabricated components using mechanical fasteners, hardware, and production fixtures.
- Inspect completed products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow company policies, quality procedures, and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with other production duties as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication, metal fabrication, sign fabrication, or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Experience manufacturing signage, metal enclosures, kiosks, display systems, or other fabricated metal products is a strong asset.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication blueprints.
- Experience using fabrication equipment and precision measuring tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Rig and maneuver heavy materials using cranes or forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts for signage and structural components according to specifications.
- Perform machining tasks as needed for custom fabrication projects.
- Read schematics and technical instructions to ensure accurate assembly of signage systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with installation of fabricated signage on-site when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in metal fabrication, welding (MIG/TIG), or manufacturing environments.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation, rigging, and assembly processes.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment.
- Experience with crane operation or forklift driving is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of ductwork or construction experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work safely with heavy machinery and adhere to safety standards at all times.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
