The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines. The CNC Machinist must be able to read and interpret drawings and part specifications and adhere to strict tolerances and maintain strict focus to detail.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- CNC Machinist, including set-ups
- Set-up, adjust and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure that parts are produced according to specific quality requirements.
Education:
- Completion of college or technical training.
Qualifications:
- A minimum 5 years of experience in setting up and programming CNC Milling Machines.
- Excellent knowledge of CNC Programming and CNC machine controls.
- Independent, self-starter with good multi-tasking abilities.
- A positive team player with ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, disciplined approach to work.
- Excellent judgment and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English.
- Technical drawing experience – Solidworks and Fusion 360
- Ability to use CAM software (SolidCAM) is a bonus.
- Ability to work regular and overtime hours (when required).
