Chief Medical Supplies, a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing company, is currently looking for a Production/Packaging Assistant to assist in the manufacture (weighing, mixing and packaging) of product, and maintenance of the compounding, production and storage areas in a clean, sanitary and well-organized condition. We are looking for a collaborative and adaptable person who is effective with time management and has a positive attitude. This team player should be hard working and dependable.
Duties:
· Transport raw materials, fished products and equipment throughout our facility manually or using powered equipment;
· Check and weigh materials and products;
· Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products;
· Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers;
· Perform other labouring and elemental activities;
· Clean machine and immediate work areas;
· Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
· Observe the company Health and Safety policy and your role within it.
· Other related duties as assigned.
Additional requirements:
- Applicants must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Some knowledge of basic chemistry is an asset.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Must be physically fit, and free from communicable diseases.
- Ability to manage your time efficiently.
- Work well when supervisors are not present.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Desirable: WHMIS, First Aid, Forklift training.

Salary of $16.50/hour (Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm) 35 hours per week.
