Our film and event company is looking for an experienced bench Carpenter to work in our busy shop and go out om location for installs. The successful candidate will have a background in bench carpentry and must have some experience with cabinetry and laminating, scenery set building, and a very strong knowledge of fabricating. Experience working on a team and the ability to work efficiently and methodically is crucial. Must have strong communication and leadership skills.
Applicants must be resident of the GTA and legally allowed to work in Canada. Please do not apply if you do not reside in Canada.
Drivers license required
Responsibilities:
- ability to read and follow technical drawings
- be capable of working with various materials and know best uses of each
- must have strong knowledge of and experience using various shop tools - eg- routers, pneumatic tools, various power saws etc
- must be able to lead others
