The Role
The Manager, Business Development Communications/Graphic Designer supports the activities of the Korn Ferry Business Development Center of Excellence (BD CoE), with a focus on assisting with writing, preparing, and managing the delivery of winning proposals and the creation of proposal graphics and presentations.

These activities fall within the Korn Ferry sales process and require the creation of focused proposals that feature business outcomes for clients and that challenge their thinking.

Key Accountabilities

Manage and drive the development (strategy), writing, production, and editing of client proposals as part of the Korn Ferry sales process, including engaging with necessary resources, establishing timelines, facilitating reviews, ensuring adherence to proposal instructions, assembling and finalizing proposal document, and ensuring the proposal is of high quality and delivered on time to the client.
Use a variety of mediums to achieve compelling and current effects created by computer technology (i.e., inclusion of videos and sophisticated graphics).
Create and edit graphical elements for client deliverables (proposals, presentations, and collateral) and internal deliverables using a range of software programs: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Provide outstanding writing in formal business proposals and internal communications, including development of key content and refining and editing various deliverables.
Assist in high quality, engaging presentation development for service offering lines and proposal short list presentations.
Partner with subject-matter experts (SMEs) to create content/copy that address the client's needs and issues.
Enter and help maintain an RFP online library.
Develop a deep knowledge of Korn Ferry services and products.
Adhere to and promote usage of Korn Ferry brand and style guidelines.
Ensure implementation of consistent execution processes of key BD CoE functions and help craft, implement, and improve processes when needed.
Proactively develop effective relationships with sales team members, SMEs, and peers.

Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required.
3-5 years relevant work experience in a similar industry and/or in supporting the sales process.
Proposal writing and editing skills.
Experience in graphic design.
Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in software programs: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently at a high-quality level.
Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
Knowledge of the sales process or experience working within a sales environment.
