Enterprise Saint John is the regional economic development agency serving the five regional municipalities of Grand Bay-Westfield, Rothesay, Quispamsis, St. Martins, and Saint John.

The Position

The Workforce Project Coordinator will primarily work with municipal and provincial partners including educational institutions to support a Provincial Workforce Pilot Project. The role will include candidate recruitment, stakeholder coordination, administration, and project oversight and advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide coordination support to a number of partners to make sure the clients’ needs are met and the project evolves.
  • Assist with preparing budgets, reporting and handling financial queries.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure implementation of policies and practices.
  • Act as the main point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
Who are you?

  • You have proven experience (a minimum of 3 years) as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role including planning and coordination of a program and its activities.
  • You hold a post-secondary degree or diploma.
  • You have strong client-facing and teamwork skills, the ability to work with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • You are recognized for your attention to detail, solid organization skills, including multi-tasking and time-management, and ability to prioritize deliverables.
  • You enjoy collaboration and are continuously seeking ways to add value.
Language:
Fluently bilingual in French and English, including both written and verbal competencies is a requirement of this position.

Location and Hours

The Workforce Project Coordinator will be hired on a two-year contract. This position will operate out of Enterprise Saint John’s office at 40 King Street in Saint John, NB. You may occasionally be required to work beyond normal business hours of 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
