Journeyman/woman Plumber- On-Site
Job Description
Our client is a leader in providing innovative water treatment solutions for a range of industries, with a strong emphasis on being client-focused and customer service–driven. They are seeking an experienced Journeyman/woman Plumber to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience coordinating, installing, and completing small to mid-sized projects independently or alongside a team.
This role includes assembling potable and wastewater treatment systems, working on commercial buildings at various site locations, and ensuring job sites are clean, safe, and organized. Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a positive attitude toward safety are essential.
Key Responsibilities
· Collaborating with on-site contracted labor to assist with installation, maintenance, and repairs of plumbing, heating, gas piping, and related equipment.
· Assisting with preparation, installation, setup, and teardown of remote camps and ancillary equipment.
· Troubleshooting and performing periodic equipment maintenance.
· Coordinating with operations staff on-site and contributing to ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
· Expanding skills and knowledge by participating in industry-related training programs.
· Maintaining a strong focus on safety practices and policies in all day-to-day tasks and job site activities.
· Building ancillary equipment such as pipes, hoses, lift stations, and cords as needed.
· Performing various other duties as required.
Accountability and Decision-Making:
- Demonstrated experience making responsible financial, budgetary, and cost-related decisions.
- Issuing purchase orders for field contractors as required for on-site services.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of installation or maintenance experience.
- Must have Registered Journeyman/woman Plumber designation.
- Interprovincial Red Seal B Gas Fitter certification (Alberta or BC) or willingness to obtain prior to employment.
Skills and Competencies
· A positive team player with strong work ethic who is reliable and punctual.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
· Good communications skills, both written and verbal Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
· Organized with the ability to multi-task, including ability to maintain accurate equipment files.
· Ability to meet job requirements under minimum supervision.
· Excellent and engaged attitude toward workplace safety.
· Able to lift, move and carry up to 50 lbs.
· BC and or Ontario Gas Fitter Ticket an asset.
· Operator tickets such as Telehandler, Aerial Work Platform and Skid Steer would be considered an asset.
· Ability to travel up to 100% of the time.
· Commitment to maintaining a substance-free workplace, including successful completion of pre-employment screening.

- Wage: $38–$44 per hour (overtime eligible)
