Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician

Nova Drilling Inc. is a drilling company in Mount Uniacke, NS, and is seeking a motivated and dependable mechanic to join our team. We operate a fleet of heavy-duty trucks, drilling rigs, and off-road equipment. Experience working with heavy equipment, commercial trucks, agricultural equipment, or related machinery would be considered a strong asset.
Position Details:
This is a full-time position based primarily at our shop in Mount Uniacke, Nova Scotia. Occasional travel may be required; however, travel is not a regular part of the role.

The ideal candidate will have experience in some or all the following areas:
· Hydraulic systems troubleshooting and repair
· Basic electrical diagnostics and repairs
· General maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, trucks, and drilling equipment
· Welding and fabrication
Qualifications:
· Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Valid Class 5 driver’s license
· Mechanic certification or Red Seal designation is considered an asset but is not required
Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
