Duties
- Assist with the thorough cleaning of public spaces, hallways, stairwells, and service areas to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Support room attendants by delivering linens, supplies, and cleaning materials efficiently throughout the property
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure a spotless environment
- Perform routine custodial tasks such as trash removal, restocking amenities, and ensuring all areas are tidy and well-organized
- Conduct periodic inspections of common areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly
- Support the overall housekeeping team during busy periods by performing light cleaning duties as needed
- Follow established health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with industry standards
- Hands-on experience with floor care techniques including polishing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning enhances your versatility
- Background in industrial cleaning or custodial work provides a strong foundation for maintaining large or specialized spaces
- Previous roles involving housekeeping management or supervisory responsibilities showcase leadership capabilities in a hospitality setting
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment operation, and safety protocols ensures efficient and safe task execution
