Administrative Assistant - Part Time - 1 Year Contract

Acclaim Health announces the availability of one (1) Part Time Administrative Assistant position (equivalent to 22.5 hours per week), in the Development and Marketing department. This is a contract position, lasting approximately 1 year in duration. As a member of the Development and Marketing team, the incumbent is accountable for creating an environment that exemplifies the Acclaim Health mission, vision, values and strategic directions. Focuses on processing donations, administration of the donor database, data management and creating reports.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES:
Processes donations and maintains Raiser’s Edge database
Creates reports
Coordinates donor stewardship activities
Assists in generating donor mailing lists
Collaborates with colleagues in other departments to ensure they have the information they require (ie Finance)
Maintains donor privacy and confidentiality
Assists in gathering and processing data using Excel
Creating and modifying forms and documents
Prepare all purchase orders for the Development and Marketing and the Quality Risk departments
Assists with organizing special events/community events/internal meetings and events
Assists with maintenance of the Constant Contact platform
Other clerical duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
One year Community College, Business Administration Program or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in an administrative role
Valid Ontario driver’s license, use of vehicle and insurance per the company policy
Strong communication, interpersonal skills and time management skills
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Knowledge of Raisers Edge software an asset
Detail oriented, accurate and organized
Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member
