Properlux Management is a growing property maintenance company specializing in the ongoing care and upkeep of rental properties. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, and can complete assigned tasks without constant supervision. You will visit rental properties throughout Toronto, complete assigned maintenance and upkeep tasks, and provide photo documentation of completed work.
Responsibilities Tasks will vary by property and season and may include: - Grass cutting and basic lawn maintenance - Taking garbage, recycling and green bins to and from the curb - Staircase and common-area cleaning - Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping entrances, hallways and stairwells - General common-area upkeep - Snow removal and salting during winter - Basic property maintenance and upkeep - Small handyman and maintenance tasks - Changing HVAC filters - Minor exterior maintenance -cleaning projects when required - Checking properties and reporting maintenance issues - Other general property-maintenance tasks as assigned
How the Job Works You will receive a clear list of tasks for each property. You will be expected to: - Complete assigned tasks independently - Follow provided checklists and instructions - Take photos of completed work and any important issues - Send photo updates after completing assignments - Communicate promptly if a task cannot be completed - Report damage, maintenance concerns or other issues you notice - Keep properties clean, presentable and well maintained
Properlux will handle communication with landlords and tenants, as well as coordinate larger repairs and trades.

- Previous experience in property maintenance, landscaping, construction, cleaning, handyman work or a similar field is an asset but not required
- A valid driver's licence is required, as the position involves travelling between multiple rental properties and transporting basic equipment.
Seasonal Work This is a year-round position with responsibilities that change throughout the seasons.
Spring/Summer/Fall: Lawn care, common-area cleaning, property upkeep, exterior maintenance and general maintenance tasks.
Winter: Snow removal and salting will be an important part of the position.
Applicants must be comfortable weekend work during snow events, when required.
