Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Concrete Pump Operator to join our team for the upcoming season. This position offers year round work. This role involves operating a concrete pump to transfer concrete from the truck to job sites, sometimes in tight spaces. The ideal candidate is comfortable driving with a trailer, physically fit, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate concrete pump equipment to place concrete accurately and efficiently
- Drive a truck with pump trailer to and from job sites
- Maneuver and park equipment safely in confined areas
- Set up, operate, and clean pump and hoses after each use
- Lift, carry, and position heavy hoses as needed
- Communicate effectively with crew members and concrete truck drivers
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain equipment in good working condition
Qualifications
- Experience operating a concrete pump (preferred but willing to train the right candidate)
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to tow a trailer
- Comfortable driving and parking in tight spaces
- Physically fit and able to lift and handle heavy hoses
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
