Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and skilled Barman to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food and beverage industry, with a focus on customer service, food safety, and bar operations. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Previous experience in restaurant settings, barista skills, or food handling is highly valued. The Barman will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons while ensuring all safety and service standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, taking orders and offering recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Assist in food preparation or serving when required, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment and prevent over-serving
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred
- Barista experience or background in the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
