Wonder Party & Event Rental provides bounce houses, tents, and party equipment for birthdays, school events, community festivals, and corporate gatherings across York Region and the Greater Toronto Area.
Our goal is simple: deliver safe, clean, and unforgettable party experiences for families and event hosts.
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking team member to help deliver, set up, and retrieve equipment at customer events.
This is an active, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying physically active, and being part of a growing local business.
Role Overview
The Delivery Driver & Event Setup Crew Member plays a key role in delivering the Wonder Party experience.
You’ll be responsible for loading equipment, following delivery routes, setting up inflatables and tents safely, and ensuring every event setup looks professional and ready before guests arrive.
This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
ResponsibilitiesDelivery & Logistics
- Load bounce houses, tents, tables, chairs, and party equipment
- Follow scheduled delivery routes across York Region and surrounding areas
- Transport equipment safely using company vehicles or trailers
- Ensure deliveries arrive on time based on event schedules
Event Setup
- Install and secure bounce houses using proper anchoring and safety procedures
- Set up tents, tables, and event equipment
- Ensure every setup is clean, level, and professionally presented
- Confirm equipment is fully operational before leaving the site
Customer Interaction
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Confirm event details and setup location
- Provide basic safety instructions when required
Pickup & Equipment Care
- Return after events to dismantle and pack equipment
- Inspect equipment for cleanliness and damage
- Report maintenance issues to the operations team
- Assist with cleaning and organizing equipment at the warehouse
Requirements
- Able to lift 75–100 lbs with assistance
- Comfortable working outdoors in summer conditions
- Strong reliability and punctuality
- Professional attitude when interacting with customers
- Ability to follow procedures and work efficiently
- Reliable transportation to and from our Schomberg location
Preferred but not required
- Valid G-class driver’s license
- Experience towing a trailer
- Delivery or event setup experience
Schedule
Primary work days include:
- Friday
- Saturday
- Sunday
- Monday
Typical shifts include:
- Morning deliveries and setups
- Afternoon or evening pickups
Peak season runs May through October.
Compensation & Opportunities
- $20 – $25 per hour depending on experience
- Minimum shift guarantee
- Opportunities to grow into Crew Lead or Manager roles
