Howitt Construction is a busy excavation company, based out of Red Deer looking for an experienced local short term rock truck operator for a site grading project west of Lacombe. Start date is July 7, approx 3 weeks of work with potential for other local work.
Candidates should be able to perform all the skills in the Scope of Work, and work in a safe manner following all policies and procedures.
Work Details
- 7 days a week, 7am to 6pm,
- Long weekends off (4 days),
- Must have own transportation to and from work,
- Must have valid WHMIS ticket.
Rock Truck Scope of Work
- Minimum of 1 year experience,
- Operate machine safely,
- Dump loads where directed,
- Maintain consistent distance when pulling up to excavator,
- Complete walk arounds,
- Fuel and grease own machine.
PPE Requirements
- Steel toed boots,
- High visibility safety vest,
- Safety glasses,
- Gloves.
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
